Looks like a paintball gun, can’t imagine why you’d need a flash attachment on it though. Trying to blind the enemy or play in the dark (though night vision googles would reveal far less about your position).
Part of the assembly is indeed a paintball “marker” (they’re not called guns here). First hint: I was using it as a prop in the play Trial By Jury.
